Time To Paint The Trims

Last week I painted the drivers side trims and I’m so glad I did. It took several hours of taping and then a short bit of spraying paint to get that job accomplished. Well this morning I taped the rest of the truck and what a job! I have a new appreciation for people who do this for a living. 

Yesterday I cleaned out the bed and washed down the entire truck. I worked on degreasing the wheels and making sure the bed was clean for sanding away rust spots. 

Today I started taping at 8am and finished at 11:30am. I then sprayed the touch up blue parts and between the cab/bed with Ford Blue spray can version. It takes two hours to dry to touch so I will leave those areas alone and start spraying the black trims after my lunch break. 

I think I’ll be saving the sanding of the truck bed for tomorrow and then I can paint the bed after that job is finished. Getting closer to done.
