Rust Free Bed I Hope

Took pretty much all day and lots of sandpaper but hopefully the bed is now rust free. What looked easy became harder because under the outer paint near the surface rust were layers of heavy rust. It looks like they used a rust inhibitor and painted over it rather then remove the old rust. Bad choice. All that does is trap the rust and it resurfaces later as heavy rust damage. 

I washed her out and I’ll let her dry. If she’s dry by the time I get Milo from daycare I might paint today. Otherwise I’ll skip painting today and wait for tomorrow to get that job done. I’m pretty tired and I really don’t feel up to shifting around in the bed anymore tonight.
