The Fun Never Ends

I went outside to close up the hood, doors and put the truck in another position for the morning. I turned the key and NOTHING HAPPENED. Ugh! I knew it worked fine earlier so I wondered what could be the problem. Then I realized the overhead lights were probably on all day long draining the battery.

So I got out our 8amp battery charger. At first it kept saying my battery was dead. I kept thinking no kidding that’s why I have you. Then I realized I had attached the red clamp to the wires rather then the bolt at the side. So I quickly stopped the process and shifted the clamp.

And it worked just fine to charge. I went in search of my voltmeter to see how low the battery had dropped and as I approached the truck I heard what sounded like a fan running. I then opened the door and saw the lights turned on so I put in the key and IT STARTED RIGHT UP! Thank You Jesus!

So, lesson learnt. Don’t leave the doors open all day without starting up the truck to charge up the battery.
